Our history
Inspired Blarney was founded in 2009 by Rian Murray in the Davis Square section of Somerville, Massachusetts. A published poet, aspiring novelist, and gifted writer, Murray began freelance writing during the recession to supplement his income. After a few pints at The Burren, a bar bet led to the creation of Inspired Blarney Freelance Writing. The company found a niche right away and has helped many organizations realize their vision, most notably LeadCheck, Justellus, Content Raven, Erie Drive, and Akken Cloud.
Rian Murray earned his Bachelor's Degree in English with concentration in Writing and Mass Communication from Assumption University and has since gone on to complete his Master's Degree in Education from Lesley University. When he is not writing, he works as an 8th grade special educator.
